Product Review: Sprouts' Roasted Salted Inka Corn

Roasted Salted Inka Corn

Bulk food is trendy now as people are looking for high energy healthy snacks. Although variety of nuts and dried fruits steal the spotlight, some of us, including yours truly, are also nuts (pun intended) about a different kind of nut: corn nut. Roasted salted corn nut, seemingly a simple snack, is the ultimate expression of the purity of the corn flavors.

The uniqueness of corn nut could be quite simply addictive. It has saltiness, natural sweetness, unique corn aroma, and that fun crunch followed by tongue-sweeping grittiness.

Now imagine that such experience is intensified to the Nth degree.  Comes the Roasted Salted Inka Corn.  As the gigantic size suggests (look at the size compared to the U.S. quarter), the flavors and the aroma are also bigger.  The whole experience is just better as the texture is not only less harder but also crunchier, making it harder for your dentist to charge your insurance more money.  For me, it is worth the admission price, which is twice the amount of the regular-size corn nut at the same store (currently at $5.99/lb).

Look at the size!
