General:

This place has a great conceptualization.  They have cute names for the products, nice interior design, thematic packaging, and attractive pictures.  However, I don't know if I came on an off day or it was a bad location, the drink flavors themselves were lacking.  There were 7 people in our party, all ordering different drinks.  None of us were impressed.  There was a common theme of the complaints: the drinks were overpoweringly sweet.  I'll describe the two that I actually tasted.  Hopefully, the management will read this and consider my input under advisement.

Details:

Tea Twister: the description says orange, pineapple, grass jelly, black tea. There was a touch of artificial orange and pineapple flavoring but what I mainly tasted was predominantly simple syrup (for those who are not culinary savvy: melted sugar water). It was flat, meaning that there was no acidity to build a balanced flavor.  Also, where is the black tea? Very poor sugar water. 1 star.

Tootea Fruitea: the description says kiwi, pineapple, jackfruit, lychee, longan, and black tea. Okay, this one was better.  At least there was dominant fruitiness from lychee and longan. It was also a touch more sour  that the Tea Twister but was still very flat with dominant simple syrup flavor. 2 stars.

Buttload'a Fries: fortunately the food was better than the drink.  This breaded fries came with "Tastea dust" which had seasoning similar too spicy chicken at boba places. Salt, a touch of sugar, dried paprika, garlic powder, and msg. Would have been better if not for a funky bitter finish which I suspected coming from the dried paprika powder. 3+ stars.
